⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The sisters eight think that they will have a fun, totally normal New Years. But, on New Years Eve, they lose their parents. No, they aren't dead, they have simply disappeared. They don't call the police. They don't call anyone. They go to bed. They then find a note that says that each month, one of them will receive a power and a gift if they are going to find their parents. These sisters are pretty amazing. They are seven years old. They are octuplets, with the oldest, Annie born one minute before Durinda, Georgia one minute after, and so on. And, Annie is one inch taller than Durinda, and she is one inch taller than Georgia. That makes Zinnia a full seven inches shorter than Annie. Oof. They are fun, weird, and loving. and I love how each book isn't just a repeat of the first one. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gemstones are much more eye catching many other rocks, like granite. They are carved in pretty ways, or they are nice colors. That’s because of how the way the light bounces through them. Gems are special, valuable, precious, and are used as jewelry. And yet, they are simply just rocks. And, just by doing a few cuts to it, you can make something different. I liked this book, because it’s informative and interesting. Sometimes it’s confusing in fiction books to separate the story from reality, like if they mention landmarks that you know of, but then the name of their school is fake. I find rocks really interesting, and that’s part of why I liked this book so much, and if rock interest you too, you might also like this book! You might also like this book if you like precious gems, or jewelry and how they’re made. 

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Aru lives in a museum with a creepy, destructive, lamp. Her mother has always told her to never light the lamp, but when some mean kids from school come, she’s basically forced to. When she lights the lamp, the mean kids freeze. She finds her mother frozen. Her bad decision causes almost the entire world to freeze. She finds out that she has the soul of a Pandava Brother, except she’s a Pandava Sister. She finds her soul- sister, Mini, and they go on a quest to save the world! (sorry, that was really dramatic.) Also, their guardian’s name is Boo! He is a bird. I liked this book, because Aru Shah is very funny, and sarcastic, even when they are about to die, (which is several times). Miny is also very funny, but in a different way, which is cool. There’s also a second one! That one’s called Aru Shah and the Song of Death . (Don’t worry, it sounds really morbid, but it isn’t! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Night Owl’s name is Avery Bloom. Dogfish’s name is Bett Devlin. These are two, totally random people, that don’t know each other in any way. Until their dads meet. Their dads are in love. Of course, they want their kids to meet, and like each other. So they are signed up for a summer camp. Together. They do not know each other, and they do not want to know each other. But, they end up knowing each other, and liking each other. That’s about the time the dads break up. I know! Rude, right? They go through all that trouble to get the girls to like each other, and they finally like the idea of living together, but then they decide, no! I don’t like you! So, the girls set up a crazy scheme to get their dads back together. I like this book, because it’s interesting to read a book made up of emails from different characters, rather than a traditional story. It really holds your attention this way. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Astrid and her friend Nicole go to see a game of roller derby. Astrid loves it, and wants to play on the junior team with Nicole, but she doesn't realize that Nicole doesn't want to. Nicole is going to dance camp, with Astrid's arch nemesis... A girl named Rachel. Astrid soon realizes that roller derby is not easy, and she has to work crazy hard to be able to play in the bout. In the camp, she makes a friend named Zoey and she turns out to be much more loyal than Nicole. I like this book, because I like to roller skate, and if you do too, you might like this book! I also like that she pushes through the hard work of roller derby. This is also just a fun book that I really like!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ BEST BOOKS EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Katniss Everdeen is only 16 years old when she volunteers in the Hunger games to save her little sister Prim's life. In the game, she is forced to kill people. other kids her same age or younger. She befriends a young girl named Rue, barely survives, and ends up the winner of the 74th annual hunger games. The next year is a quarter quell, which happens every 5 years, and it means they switch the games up. This year, the past victors end up playing other past victors. One female, and one male. this means Katniss has to compete. She's playing against adults. She has no chance of winning. But in the middle of the game, she is rescued by some rebels, and is taken to district 13. There, she turns into the Mockingjay. These books are kind of sad, but still so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You might have already heard of them, but have you read them? If not, you totally should. They're awesome.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rose is a cellist. A very good one, in fact. She's in high school when she's only 12. She has a twin brother named Thomas who is in the 5th grade. She is about to compete in the Bach competition to study with Maestro Harris Waldenstein. When her neighbor falls down a flight of stairs, Thomas and Rose are asked to take care of a plant he has. Well, mostly Thomas. Eventually, the pumpkin project brings their whole neighborhood together. Thomas says Rose especially needs the plant, but she doesn't believe him. It turns out, she does. I like this book, because Rose really changes, and it's cool to see that. My favorite character is probably Thomas. This is kinda one of those books where one bad thing happens one after, but then unlike those other books, where the main character just has to learn to adapt, in this one, everything ends up okay. This is one of my top favorite books of all time. You should seriously read this.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Emma is about to start school in the 5th grade. She is terrified. What if she doesn't make any friends? What if she is way behind everyone else? What if she spills something on herself? Then finally, the day before her first day comes. She goes with her dad to rescue a bunny, and he stays at their house for a while. eventually, she's told she can keep it. The rabbit she helped rescue helped her get through her first week, but she has friend problems. I like this book because Emma is very funny, and seeing the public elementary school for the first time from her perspective is very interesting. Also, I love reading about all the cute animals she talks about!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ When Abby goes to middle school at a boarding school called Brookside Academy, she hopes to leave the shy girl she used to be behind, and now goes by the name Abbi. She soon realizes that her sister,  Sydney being the president of the Committee, the student- run government for the school, makes her very popular, and makes lots of other student rely on her to get what they want. Sydney has power over everyone, especially her fellow committee members. Her secret is that she gets them to always vote with her by threatening to tell an embarrassing secret about them to the whole school. She also gets to decide wether people get what they want since she's the president, so if she doesn't like someone, or they beat her at something, she teaches them a lesson, by never giving hem what they want. This book is interesting, and it really holds your attention. The sisters are at first enemies, but then they come together, and help each other, and I really like that part in the bo...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kendra and Seth are sister and brother. When their parents go on a cruise, they are not invited, so they are sent to their Grandma and Grandpa Sorenson's for a week. There, they learn the truth about why they own so much land. Their grandparents own a magical animal preserve. Kendra and Seth have many adventures with the magical creatures, and make many magical friends along the way, like a naiad named Lena, a golem who answers to the name Hugo, the satyrs Newel and Doren, a puppet called Mendigo, Vanessa, Gavin, the centaurs Cloudwing and Broadhoof, a young fairy dragon named Raxtus, and a unicorn named Bracken. I like these books because they are funny, and action- packed, and hold your attention until the last page of the last book.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cruz Coronado is going to Explorer Academy. He's not completely sure why, but it's a great school, so he's not complaining. His mom used to work there, though. Used to. His mom was killed. At Explorer Academy Cruz makes friends, learns, and has fun, but he still wants to solve the mystery of his mother's death. I like this book because there are a lot of mysteries, but it's not very scary. It's fun to sometimes see the mystery and the answer before it's revealed, because it makes me feel smart. In the second book, the Academy goes on a boat trip, and so there are lots of mysteries that have to do with other places, like Iceland. They're super interesting, and hold your attention until the last page. If you like the first one, you will probably like the other two after!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lainey, Kate, and Mia are best friends. Mia has a little sister Gabi, and one day when they are minding their own business, a fairy named Prilla accidentally brings them to Never Land, the home of the fairies. I liked these books because they're fun, and fairies are cool. Reading these books always makes me think about what I'd wish for, if I got one wish granted from a fairy, (I've always wanted to be able to fly!). And when the girls learn to fly, I feel like I'm the one in the book, playing air soccer, doing flying summersaults, and gliding through the treetops, when I'm really only on the couch. If you like the first book, there are many more!
