⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Eleven- year- old Melody Brooks is craaazzyyy smart. But no one knows it. Doctors and teachers are convinced she's dumb, just because she can't talk. Melody has cerebral palsy, which limits her talking, and her body movements, but not her mind. Nobody seems to get that though. I like this book because I think it helps people have more empathy for people with disabilities, and we don't understand how much harder they have it. Both my moms have also read it and loved it, and we've listened to it on audiobook on a family vacation. I've reread this approximately 100 times. This is one of my favorite books of all time, and I hope it becomes one of yours!
